Anxiety Panic Attacks 5* Review

Review:

I found Anxiety Panic Attack by Ellen Dean helpful and enjoyable. It must be read with curiosity, interest and presence of mind because it’s too easy to imagine you’ve ‘seen this sort of book before,’ and skim, scan or just glance at its contents without taking them in properly.

It gives useful, easy-to-read information about what can alleviate anxiety and fend off panic attacks.  This ranges from understanding the condition through reading about someone else’s experience to giving useful medical and dietary information. An important message is that with mindfulness we can learn to switch off worry and switch on our presence in the actual world, turning the irrational burden of what if into acceptance of what is.

It also has an interesting chapter about empathy, an aspect of anxiety which I had never thought about before.

Definitely order it. If anxiety is not an issue for you, you will find wanting to share it with loved ones for whom it is!
